How Can a Young Producer Grant Benefit You?

Young Producer Grants are designed to provide a flexible boost to young agricultural producers building long-term careers in agriculture. This fund can be used for projects that further your goals as a producer, even if that means just getting started. This fund aims to provide financial assistance for projects that currently limit your ability to start, run, or grow your operation in the way you’d like.

Utilization of these funds may be geared toward projects that provide creative solutions to farm labor, Natural Resource Stewardship, economic diversification of your farm or ranching operation, and use of modern technology to improve workflow or production. Funds may NOT be used to pay existing debt or ongoing operational expenses, including—but not limited to—land payments, rent, or operating loans.

Applicant Qualifications:
• Applicants must live and operate in Dunn County.
• Applicants must have an ownership interest in a farming or ranching operation located in Dunn County.
Applicants who do not own the land must provide documentation of a use agreement with the landowner.
• Applicants must be at least 18 and no older than 40 as of January 1, 2026.
• Only one member per household may apply for the 2026 grant.
• Applicants may receive funding up to 10 times through this program.
• Applicants who received a 2025 Young Producers Grant must have submitted the required Impact Statement to remain eligible.
