Family & Community Wellness Extension Agent

Christy Larsen holds a BS in elementary education from Dickinson State University, along with a special education certificate from the University of North Dakota. She has 14 years of education experience, having worked for Killdeer Public School as an elementary teacher, special education teacher, and counselor. Christy also served as the Dunn County Clerk of Court and County Recorder from March 5, 2008 (appointed) to August of 2012.

Christy’s teaching experience will be extremely valuable as she develops, delivers, and evaluates Extension programs as the FCW agent. In addition, she has a commitment to lifelong learning, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to communicate with diverse audiences. She also has an interest in giving back to her community and has served in a variety of volunteer roles.
