Auditor/Treasurer

The Auditor of a county is responsible for licensing service, distribution of revenue collections, paying county bills, all financial books for the county, and scheduling commissioner meetings. The auditor is the chief financial officer for the county, the elections official, and secretary to the county commission. The treasurer of a county is responsible for county fund investments, collections of various taxes, and maintaining county accounting records.
