Dunn County is looking for the right candidate to join our Dunn County Team as Seasonal Road Employee.  The right candidate will possess a service mindset and uphold our core values. 

 

The Position: Seasonal Road Employee                                               Seasonal:  May – October

Work Schedule:  Monday – Thursday                                                     Pay Range:  $22.68 - $29.59 DOE

Benefits:  10 hours Vacation/8 hours Sick per month

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate vehicles such as pick-up, tractor and rotary mower along county roadways, road slopes and ditches.
  • Ability to operate tools such as, jack hammers, air compressors, mechanical tampers, power saws, hydraulic drivers and similar equipment.
  • Ability to do preventative maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
  • Ability to provide assistance to highway maintenance crews with general labor duties using hand tools.
  • Ability to occasionally operate heavy equipment such as, loaders, motor grader, etc. as directed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must be 18-years of age.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
  • Experience in comparable position preferred.
