Dunn County will officially launch the new text alert system on March 8th. You may receive a text notification from the number 91896. This is a legitimate text from Dunn County, North Dakota. Residents who receive the initial text message will also benefit from localized alerts, which provide information about issues specific to their area. Users may opt-out at any time by texting STOP.
If you DO NOT receive the initial text message, you can opt-in by texting “DUNN COUNTY” to the number 91896, you will be prompted reply with “YES” to complete the opt-in process. Residents can expect text message notifications about Upcoming Events, Election Information, Important Deadlines, and General Announcements.
Dunn County is excited about this new technology and we look forward to keeping our residents better informed.
